Welcome to Optometry, Class of 2020! Can I tell you how jealous I am that you are graduating in the year that has the most meaning to optometry?!

How exciting! This means that you all have a lot to live up to, and our profession is going to be expecting a lot from you!

This is a very exciting time to be joining the party! Optometry is an amazing profession and the advances that we are seeing in our ways to diagnose, treat, and manage a wide variety of ocular conditions never ceases to amaze me. The passion that optometrists have for their patients and their profession is also truly inspiring. And the tight-knit network of optometrists and optometry students that are always willing to help each other out in any way possible is incredible. You should feel so lucky to be a part of this wonderful group! We all welcome you with open arms!
