One of the first things that I learned when I graduated from optometry school was that I knew NOTHING about investments and retirement, and what to do and how to do it!

It was crazy thinking about the fact that I had just barely started my career as an optometrist, but was told that I already needed to be thinking about retirement! Even though this idea may be daunting, I highly recommend taking some time early in your career to come up with a financial plan.
