Check Out the New Changes to OptoPrep!

Entirely new user interface!

OptoPrep recently went through a major face-lift! Once you log-in to the site you will have the opportunity to switch to the new and improved user interface. If for some reason you are having difficulty navigating the new features, feel free to revert back to the old system at any time! However, we are positive you’ll enjoy the updated and streamlined look!

TMOD Only Mode for Part 2 Available!

We’ve had many students write in to us asking if we had a program specific to TMOD only. In the past, if you only needed to study TMOD content, you would have to sort through all the material on our site and pick the TMOD related items to study. Well, we listened to your needs and now you can simply toggle your subscription to “Focused- TMOD only,” in which you will only be asked questions and cases that fall under that category! What a time-saver!

Progress Bars for Part 2

As with Part 1, Part 2 now has progress bars on the homepage! These bars show how much of the program you have finished (in addition to how many questions you have answered and how many you have available), the average percentage that other students using OptoPrep have completed over the same time period, and how much time you have left in your OptoPrep subscription (including the exact date and time your subscription expires).

Built-in Calculator for Part 1 and Part 2

OptoPrep has added a standard 8-function built-in calculator feature that can be used to help answer questions that need calculations for both Part 1 and Part 2!

“I Don’t Know” Button for Part 1

Part 1 practice questions (not timed-exam questions) now have an “I Don’t Know” button. If you don’t know the answer and don’t want to risk a guess you can click this button. This will count the question as an incorrect answer so that you’ll be asked the question again in the future.

185 Question, 4 hour Timed- Exam for Part 1

With the new NBEO changes for Part 1, we have changed our timed-exam option from 125 to 185 questions to reflect these adjustments. You will now be able to exactly simulate what a single section of the NBEO part 1 will be so that you are best prepared come exam time!
